flashing cat

the necono digital camera is a cat-shaped device by swedish-born japan-based designer lisa larson.
taking its name from 'neco' which means 'cat' in japanese, this pet-like companion's left eye acts as a lens
(35mm film equivalent), while the right eye functions as a sensor, allowing you to take photos and movies
as if the cat is capturing the images. it has the capability to shoot 2048 x 1536 and 1024 x 768 pixel-sized images, and can capture moves of 640 x 480 pixels. its ISO, exposure, and white balance are all automatic.
it is light weight at only 40g. overview
the cat doesn't come with a monitor, however, an accompanying 'monitor ground',
which is set for availability later this spring, allows you to dock the cat and use it like an
ordinary digital camera.
like cats who love climbing anything and everything, the necono digital camera comes with magnets
embedded into its feet, sticking to any magnetic surface, high or low.
i say awesome haha!
